I am really having some good tempo runs. My first mile was about 12:10 and my second mile I sped upto 11:58. But that last half mile I did in 5:50 which is an 11:40. I got to find away to run like that on my long runs.

I had a great first 2/3 of a run, but I hit a wall around 8.5 miles. The course I ran today started out with 5.5 miles of rolling hills, so I will blame that. However, my average pace is only 14 seconds per mile behind my minimum speed I want. The first 8 miles were closer to 13:00 pace. My goal for this season is 12:45. I think I can still make that as long as I keep up with my schedule.

2 mile tempo run. Ran the second mile faster than I thought, 57 second negative split. The best part is I feel great after the hard run, and no tweaking at my injury site. I would say I am back fully now.
